Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Scaffolder.net platform, website, and code generation services (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by MONSIEUR NICOLAS GUTIERREZ, a Sole Proprietorship registered in France (the "Operator").
By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- "Service" refers to the Scaffolder.net platform, website, code generation engine, and all related features.
- "Operator" refers to MONSIEUR NICOLAS GUTIERREZ, the individual entity operating the Service.
- "User" or "You" refers to any person who creates an account or uses the Service.
- "Generated Code" refers to any source code, configuration files, project files, or other artifacts produced by the Service based on your domain model.
- "Account" refers to your personal account on the Service.
- "Free Trial" refers to the 14-day complimentary access period granted to new Users.
- "Subscription" refers to the paid plan granting continued access to the Service after the Free Trial.
2. Eligibility and Account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that all information provided is accurate and complete.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify the Operator immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.
One account is intended for one individual developer. Sharing account credentials with other persons is prohibited.
3. Free Trial and Subscription
3.1 Free Trial
New Users are granted a 14-day Free Trial with full access to the Service features. No payment information is required to start the Free Trial. The Free Trial begins on the date of account creation and expires automatically after 14 days. No reminder or notification is guaranteed before expiration.
3.2 Subscription
After the Free Trial, continued access to the Service requires a paid Subscription. The Pro plan is priced at €49 per month, the Team plan is priced at €149 per month, exclusive of applicable taxes. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis.
All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. You may cancel your Subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The Operator reserves the right to change pricing upon reasonable notice. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle following notification.
4. Ownership and License of Generated Code
The Generated Code is entirely yours. Upon generation and download, you own the Generated Code in full, free of any royalty, license fee, or runtime dependency on the Service or the Operator.
The Operator grants you a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell the Generated Code for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial, without any obligation to the Operator.
You are free to use the Generated Code in proprietary, open-source, or internal projects without attribution or restriction. The Generated Code contains no proprietary or proprietary-licensed components imposed by the Operator.
The Service itself (website, code generation engine, templates, source code of the Scaffolder.net platform) remains the exclusive property of the Operator and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you no rights to the Service source code or templates beyond the right to receive Generated Code as output.
5. Acceptable Use
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract the Service's source code or templates;
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, scripts) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal human usage;
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without authorization;
- Introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code into the Service;
- Use the Service to generate code intended for malicious, fraudulent, or illegal activities;
- Harass, abuse, or harm other Users or the Operator.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund and without notice.
6. No Warranty — Service Provided "As Is"
- Merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement;
- That the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at all times;
- That the Generated Code will compile, function correctly, or meet your specific requirements;
- That the Generated Code is free of bugs, vulnerabilities, or security issues;
- That the Generated Code is suitable for production, commercial, or any particular use;
- That the Generated Code complies with any specific industry, regulatory, or legal standard.
The Operator does not warrant that the Service will meet your expectations or that any defect or error will be corrected.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, auditing, and validating all Generated Code before using it in any environment, especially production. The Operator strongly recommends thorough code review, security auditing, and comprehensive testing of all Generated Code.
7. Limitation of Liability
- The use of, inability to use, or performance of the Service;
- Any Generated Code, including but not limited to compilation errors, runtime errors, security vulnerabilities, data loss, system failures, or any other issue arising from the use of the Generated Code;
- Any modification, distribution, or deployment of the Generated Code by you or any third party;
- Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Service;
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or account;
- Any third-party actions, claims, or damages related to your use of the Generated Code;
- Any bugs, viruses, or harmful code in the Generated Code or Service.
The Operator's total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to the Operator in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is lower.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if the Operator has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such cases, the Operator's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Indemnification
- Your use of the Service or Generated Code;
- Your deployment, distribution, modification, or commercialization of the Generated Code;
- Any claim that the Generated Code, as modified or used by you, infringes any third-party rights;
- Any data breach or security incident arising from your use or deployment of the Generated Code;
- Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law;
- Any harm caused to any third party by software built using or derived from the Generated Code.
The Operator reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense of any claim for which indemnification is required. You agree to cooperate fully with the Operator in such defense.
9. Disclaimer Regarding Generated Code
The Generated Code is produced by deterministic templates based on your input and is not tailored to any specific legal, regulatory, security, or industry requirement.
The Operator makes no representation that the Generated Code :- Complies with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or any other regulatory or security standard;
- Is secure, hardened, or free from vulnerabilities;
- Is suitable for processing sensitive, personal, or financial data;
- Will function correctly in your specific environment or with your specific dependencies;
- Will not infringe any third-party patent, copyright, trademark, or other right once modified by you.
You acknowledge that the Generated Code is a starting point that requires professional review, testing, and customization before any production deployment. The Operator is not a party to any deployment you make and bears no responsibility for the outcomes of such deployment.
10. Service Availability and Modifications
The Operator does not guarantee continuous availability of the Service. The Service may be interrupted, suspended, or terminated at any time for maintenance, updates, or operational reasons without prior notice.
The Operator reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time, without notice or liability. The Operator may also release new features, change existing features, or remove features entirely.
If the Service is permanently discontinued, active Subscriptions will be pro-rated and refunded for the unused portion of the billing period.
11. Account Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by discontinuing use of the Service and cancelling your Subscription.
The Operator may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to: violation of these Terms, suspicious or fraudulent activity, or operational requirements.
Upon termination, all data associated with your account may be permanently deleted. The Operator is not obligated to retain or return any of your data after termination.
Sections 4 (Ownership), 6 (No Warranty), 7 (Limitation of Liability), 8 (Indemnification), 9 (Disclaimer), and 13 (Governing Law) shall survive termination of these Terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
The Operator reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If material changes are made that significantly affect your rights, the Operator will make a reasonable effort to notify you by email or through the Service.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If no resolution is reached within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of LYON, France.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Operator may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights or prevent unauthorized use of the Service.
14. General Provisions
- Severability : If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- Entire Agreement : These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Operator regarding the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements.
- Assignment : You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without the Operator's prior written consent. The Operator may assign these Terms freely.
- No Waiver : The failure of the Operator to enforce any right or provision at any time shall not be construed as a waiver of that right or provision.
- Force Majeure : The Operator shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, network failures, third-party service outages, or governmental actions.
